Dukes Bath is a quintessentially English hotel situated on arguably one of the grandest boulevards in Northern Europe and – one of the most iconic Georgian streets within the beautiful, historic city of Bath.

With 17 individually styled rooms and suites, Dukes Bath caters to guests seeking a touch of luxury and personalised service. Each room is thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotel’s rich history while offering contemporary comforts. Guests can indulge in a hearty breakfast in the elegant dining room or enjoy a classic afternoon tea in the cosy lounge, complete with a roaring fire during the colder months.

The hotel caters for couples, families, and groups of friends in indulgent surroundings which reflect the elegance of the Georgian era the city is so famous for.

For guests heading out, a pre-dinner drink might be just what the doctor ordered. Enjoy a chilled glass of wine or an expertly crafted gin and tonic. If the evening continues into the late hours, don't let hunger interrupt your night. Instead, savour a late-night cheese board paired with a glass of Taylor's 10-year-old port from Duke's Pantry.

Nestled in the centre of Bath, Dukes Bath is ideally located for exploring the city's many attractions. Just a short stroll from the hotel, guests can discover the historic Roman Baths, the iconic Bath Abbey, and the stunning Royal Crescent. The hotel is also close to the picturesque Pulteney Bridge and the serene Henrietta Park, perfect for leisurely walks.

Dukes Bath is located just 33.2 km from Bristol Airport. Approximately a 49 minute journey by taxi. Dukes is located just a flat 15 minute stroll from Bath Spa train station (or a 5 minute ride in a taxi). There are great links from London Paddington (1hr 20 mins) and also Bristol.

Dukes Bath might not have an on-site restaurant, but, it makes up for this by offering guests the opportunity to dine in at its sister hotel The Bird, just a four-minute walk away and offering delectable dishes such as Middle White pork chop, garden spinach & peppercorn sauce or Thai green steamed mussels, lime and coconut milk.

Those heading out for the evening of art or theatre may wish to take advantage of the hotels pre-dinner drinks offerings. Opt for a simple chilled glass of white wine or a refreshing high ball of gin, tonic, ice and lemon. If the mood calls then a chilled glass of champagne may be more appealing, alternatively the hotels favoured local Bath Ales or a micro brewed beer may be ‘fit for purpose’. On occasions guests may arrive late or return from the theatre. Whilst it may be too late for a full evening meal there is little worse than retiring to bed peckish. With this in mind the hotel offers a late night cheese board with a glass of Taylors 10 year old port. Alternatively, a warming mug of chocolate and a couple of biscuits may help tie you over until breakfast.
